As you can see I'm not an expert at this. I pretty much learn as I go. So if your interested in putting up your own site you can see that if I can do it then so can you. Harbin Oaks offers the cheapest way or putting up your own website.
The Website Publishing Software we use to publish this site is offered through our web hosting program. It's quick and easy for anyone wanting to build their own website. I've used other programs that are quite expensive but when U purchased this domain I didn't have any software left to use since I changed over to a MAC (Love it) and all my software was outdated. I decided to publish again so I used what my hosting provider had since it' was very inexpensive. I wasn't that impressed with it last year but every since they upgrades it to the newer version I'm very impressed with it. It has a lot of new things with it. I like how you can now layout a page without having to be restricted to either 1,2 or 3 columns. This way you can lay out your page a lot nicer. The templates they offer with their software are pretty nice however they need to be updated to match their newer version of the publishing software. Whats kind of neat is the fact that you don't have to use the template inn it's entirety. You have to option of changing it to match what you like. It does take a little programming to learn how to change the CSS in their styles update but it don't take much to figure it out. Don't forget to backup before you go playing around in there. If you've been to this website before you can see that I change the looks all the time just to see if I can do it. I don;t use any of the template settings. I only use the basic setup. The only drawback I see is the way you have to put something in the Header. You can use your own banner and put a different one on each page just don't mess up because the default setting is to change the entire site. Believe me I've done that many times and put the wrong banner on another page. But as you grow your site then it probably would be best to use the same header on all since if you mess up then you have a lot to do. I have 55 pages here and it kinda got a little aggravating for me so I just made them all the same. If you only have a small website with only a couple of pages then it's a lit easier to manage. Most people that use these programs only need a small website.
